The Law of Reaping

You’ve got to learn to co operate with the way things are. The seasons are established in this world. You can say, “It shouldn’t be that way.”  Well, when you get your own planet you can re arrange things. On this planet you are a guest. You take it as it comes.

The secret to the ambitious sower with the good seed is in the fact that he kept on sowing. He kept on sowing. Here is what he had to do to keep on sowing. He had to discipline his disappointment. This is key. You will be disappointed with results from people in network marketing. You must learn to discipline your disappointment. You did not set up the set up and some are not going to stay. That is not of your making. If you made gross errors and you ran them off that is different and you are responsible for that. But if it is the normal course of things this is how things are.

The sower keeps on sowing. Some seed falls on thorny ground. You can ask, “How much of this stuff do you have to go through”. Hang on. It is not the end of the story. The little seed falls on thorny ground and the little plant starts to grow again. But as the little plant starts to grow the thorns choke it to death. The plant dies. In network marketing the thorns are going to get some. That also is not of your making.

What are these thorns? The story calls them little cares, little distractions, little something’s. Who knows what they all are. I say to John, “John we had a meeting last night and you where not there.” John says to me, “I can’t make it to every meeting.” I say, “Why not? You are part time”. He says, “The screen door came of the hinges. You just can’t let your house fall apart. You got to take some time off and fix things up. Some extra trash is piling up in the garage. You can’t let mountains of trash take over. You got to keep your trash thrown out.

What can you do about people who let little things cheat them out of big opportunities? What can you do? You feel almost helpless. What can I do about this? Nothing! You may ask, “Why is this”? Hey, don’t sign up for that class? Don’t go for the ‘The why is class’ it is just the way things are. Like winter following fall and spring following winter. Learn this. The thorns are going to get some.

Philosophy Ten

Here is the good news. The rest of the story. The sower keeps on sowing the seed. Keeps on sharing the story. Keeps on giving the invitation. Yes the invitation can be more powerful when you are succeeding than when when you first start your network marketing. Your invitation is more powerful when you can say, “I am making twice as much money part time than I make at my full time job. The invitation gets more powerful with success but the law of averages is still at work.

Finally the seed falls on good ground. (It always will). If you keep sowing there will be results. If you share a good idea long enough it will fall on good people. Let’s continue with the story. Some of the good ground did 30%. Some of the good ground did 60%.  And some of the good ground did 100%. You ask, “Why the difference in numbers?” I would not sign up for that class. Don’t register for that class. It’s just the way it is.

You can try to make the thirties to do sixty, It will be more than you can handle. You cannot make someone successful who has not got it. You will die in the process. You must not even try. Let the thirties do 30% to the best of their ability and keep doing 30% because that is how they build their lifestyle, and get what they want out of life. Let the sixties do 60% and let the one hundreds do 100%.

How can you get some to do 100%? You got to go through all these experiences. You got to talk to all these people. Have you got it?

The Law of Sowing

I am learning the law of sowing and reaping. The story is found in the Bible. It is also the law of averages.  1.The sower was ambitious. That becomes clear when you read the whole story. 2.He had excellent seed. The sower who sowed the seed had excellent seed. Excellent seed can be an excellent opportunity and, or excellent products. We have an ambitious sower with excellent seed.

For the drama of my life learning these laws will make me rich like those who have gone before me. The sower goes out to sow, some of the seeds fall by the wayside and the birds get the seed. When I go out and share  opportunity the birds are going to get some. How does this pan out in reality.

I invite John to a meeting. He says he will be there, Tuesday night. Tuesday night, I show up, John isn’t there. I say to myself. “I wander why John didn’t make it?” Aha, the birds got John. The birds. John had this great idea to come to a meeting to look at an opportunity and somebody stalled it. “Hey, you not going to go to see network marketing?” And he says, “Well, maybe not.”

The birds are going to get some. When the birds get some you have two options. 1.You can chase the birds. You can say, “Let me get to the guy that told him not to come. I’ll tear him a new page.” Do not do that. Here is what happens when you go chasing birds. You leave the field. If you go chasing birds you leave the field. Which is going to subtract from your future not add. You can’t chase birds and try to straighten things out. It is just one of those things.

When things are a little disappointing here is the best comment, “Isn’t that interesting?” You can think that John was going to come to the meeting. He promised me. He promised me. But the best thing to do is say to yourself, “Isn’t that interesting?”

Philosophy Nine

Here is the secret to the success of the sower. He kept on sowing. And if you keep sowing you are going to get more coming in because there aren’t enough birds out there. Just keep on sowing. There are some birds but keep on sowing. The law of averages is going to work for you.

A mentor once told Jim Rohn that they were only nine or ten really nasty people in the world. They move around a lot and you a liable to meet  one of them. You will bump into them once in a while. If you bump into one you can say, “There is only nine others like you. I can handle that.” Learn to handle rejection.

The sower keeps on sowing and the seed falls on rocky ground where the soil is shallow. Hey, the rocky ground where the soil is shallow is not of your making. You have excellent seed and you are an ambitious sower. This time the seed starts to grow, the little plant starts to grow. But the first hot day, it withers and dies. This is not an easy thing to watch.

I finally get John started. Sure enough someone says, “Boo!” He is gone. He doesn’t show up at the second meeting. I thought sure, John would at least last a week. What happened? The hot weather is going to get some. This is not of your making. Here is what you must say. “Isn’t that interesting? Wow.” What can you do? The answer is nothing. You can try and change things. Don’t take that class.

The sun comes out in the east and someone say, “Why is that?”  I would not spend much time on that. Just let that happen. Don’t go for this why, why, why, stuff. Stuff happens. The answer is in the structure. The consequences is in the deal. Study the deal. Anything beyond that is not worth studying.

“How come some just last a little while?” I would not sign up for that class. Here is the answer, “SOME DON’T STAY”. When someone leaves he is just one on of those that don’t stay. Now you know what category to put them. You can’t solve this thing. It’s like rearranging the seasons. you can’t fool with that. All you can do is co operate with the way things are set up. The Law of Averages

 

If you do something long enough a ratio will appear. It is an amazing principle in network marketing. If you talk to ten people one says, ‘Yes.’ A ratio has begun. 1 out of 10. Talk to 10 and 1 gets in. Once the law of averages begins it tends to continue. Once a ratio starts it tends to continue. Talk to 10 and 1 gets in. Sure enough if you talk to ten more one will get in.

Philosophy Seven

Now you can compete, even with one who can get 9 out of 10, you can compete. If you have been in business for a long time you can get 9 out of ten. But for me who has just begun I can get 1 out of ten. If we have a thirty day contest I will beat you. How can you beat a guy who gets 9 out of 10. Simple, in those thirty day he talks to 10 and gets 9, but you talk to 100 and get 10. You have beaten the competition.

I do this for two reasons. I sincerely wish to win. The other sincere reason is that I wish for you to loose. This is a noble goal on my part. Here is why it is noble. You learn more by loosing than by winning. So I wish to give you that experience.

I am new in network marketing. Therefore I make up in numbers what I lack in skill. Who can do this? Anybody that is ambitious and wants success. Anybody with a little ingenuity. Anybody. It does not matter.

Philosophy Eight

The law of averages can be increased. 1 out of 10. Talk to 10 get 1, talk to 10 get 1, talk to 10 get  1, the fourth time you talk to 10 you get 2. What happens the fourth time is that you are getting better. Wow, can anybody do this? Yes, anybody that is ambitious and wants to change his lifestyle.

Who can get better? Anybody. Talk to 10 get 2, talk to 10 get 2 talk to 10 get 2, finally talk to 10 get 3. It take more than a genius to get past 3, but 3 is fantastic. 3 will do. It also means you are out 7 times out of 10. You got to have stamina, you got to learn to deal with rejection. Success requires that you can handle rejection. I am rejection proof. Make £2,000,000 a year by getting reject 7 out of 10 times, that is network marketing. It is a home based business dealing with people, it is a numbers game. I am ready for this.

You do not have to bat 1,000 to make big money. 1out of 10 is fine, 2 out of 10  is great and 3 out of 10 is out of this world money. Do you want to make money? Some genius may get 4 people out of 10 but 3 out of 10 is sufficient to make you rich beyond your wildest imagination.

Approach your neighbours, friends and relatives. “Look I got a new business. I am getting about 3 out of 10 to join. I don’t mind you coming to the meeting and being on of the 7. It doesn’t matter you are my friend you will do me a favour. It  is not important that you like it. It doesn’t matter that you do not buy my products.It doesn’t matter that you don’t listen. One of the reasons that I want you to hear the story is that a year from now if I am doing well, I do not want you say, ‘How come you never picked up the phone last year and told me, I never got a letter, an email, a call’.”

You do not want your friends to miss out, so give them an opportunity to refuse so that they can never, NEVER say “You call me a friend, you are making all this money, you never picked up the phone to tell me.”

” For 2 reasons, I want you to see what I am doing. A year from now if I am doing well, I can say, ‘I gave you the opportunity’. But also just as a favour come and be 1 of the 7. It doesn’t matter to me if you buy into it. But i need 10 to get three.”

“If you 1 of the 3 wonderful, if you at not, wonderful. It might matter to you. It does not matter to me. It matters to me because we are friends, it doesn’t matter with regard to my averages. Come to the meeting.

If you decide to get rich. Then just learn the law of averages and you are up and running.

Changing my Life

If you want to change your life and make the next two to three years totally different from the last five or more years here is what you have to do. I want to recap. It is not the blowing of the wind that determines your income. It is not the blowing of the wind that determines your fortune. Its the set of the sail. I have learnt a few ideas that I am going to share here that will drastically improve your life. I am counting myself in too.

It is not what happens. What happens, happens to everybody. The next ten years are going to like the last ten. The next season after spring is summer. I promise you that is not going to change. After day comes night. That is not going to change. Here is how the last 6,000 years reads. Opportunity mixed with difficulty. If we are going to be around another 6,000 years it going to be the same reading. opportunity mixed with difficulty. Sometimes there seems to be  more opportunity than difficulty and sometimes there seems to be more difficulty than opportunity but the mix is not going to change.

After expansion comes recession. But after recession comes  expansion. Not to thinks so is naive. Once you got a little of this drama of life settled then you know exactly what to do. You know exactly what to anticipate so you ban be ready.

Philosophy Six

For things to change you have to change. I was hoping the government would change and taxes would change, the economics would change and my boss would change and my new boss would be more generous. I wish for everything to change. My mentor says “No, Joseph, for things to change for you, you have to change.” Leadership has to be developed.

Don’t wish it was easier wish you were better. I understand this and now I know the course of my life will change. At 55 I’ve got some changes to make in my life. I have joined Success University to learn the principles.

Don’t wish for less problems, wish for more skills. You don’t need less problems, you simply need more skills.

Don’t wish for less challenge, wish for more wisdom. Accept the challenge for you cannot grow without challenges. you can’t get rich without a challenge. You can’t fly without gravity. You have to understand the challenge that is the key. Develop wisdom to overcome the challenge. Don’t  wish for less challenges but more wisdom.

You can do the most remarkable things no matter what. Humans can do the most remarkable things no matter what happens. These are philosophies that are changing my life.

Setting up Business Part-Time

What does it take to change a person’s lifestyle? Not very much, an extra £500 would do a lot. This would change most of our lifestyles. Would it not? That is why if you keep this thing going part-time it works like magic.

A change in lifestyle is a great recruiting tool. You know I always wondered why network marketers flash their success. It is a great recruiting tool. One of the greatest recruiting attractions is the money you make part-time. Some body asks, “You have been to Zambia three times this year?” I can say, “Yes, I got this little part-time thing going.” He may ask, “You bought two new cars? How did you do that?” With pride I can say,”I got this part-time thing going” All these things are happening because of an extra £500 a month. If you are like me I would clear my credit card debts first.

If you make an extra £500 full-time no one wants to hear your story. £500 part-time, everyone wants to hear your story. The key is part-time because it gives you a classy invitation, for someone to listen to what you are doing that is changing your life. It is not just the money that should change you. It is what you do with the money.

Philosophy Five

It is not what happens that determines your life future. It is what you do about what happens that determines success. All of us are sailing through life and the wind blows on us all. The same wind blows on us all. The wind of disaster, the wind of opportunity, the wind of change, the wind when it is favourable, the wind when it is unfavourable. The economical wind, the social wind, the political wind, it is blowing on all of us. The same wind blows on everybody. The difference in arrival, where one will be in two years, three years, is not the wind but the set of the sail.

That my dear friend is why all this learning. We learn to set a better sail than last last year.  If I end up rich it will have nothing to do with Labour being in power. Let the Conservatives come, my sail will be set right.

Setting a better sail,  my philosophy of the past has to change. Correcting the errors of the past and picking up new disciplines for the future. Guess who can do this. Jim Rohn, my mentor says. “Anybody can do this.” I am taking the class. You can keep the same path for the next two years as you have for the last two. But if you wish to, maybe everything is OK with you and you do not need to, but if you need to make some changes, you can start doing it today. So that the next two years can be drastically different than the last two. Anybody who wishes to join me on this journey can. You can do this between the ages of forty to forty three. You can do this between thirteen and fifteen, between ages sixty and sixty three. So if your pension has failed do not despair because opportunity abounds.

Any two years, any five years, that you wish to drastically change for the better you can do it. IF YOU WISH TO. This is not written, this is not a law. It is called opportunity. But if you do not know what you can change, if you don’t know you can change your income, your health, your marriage, change everything. If you don’t know that, you will just be like some people who go year after year without making any change. They did not go to the class. They never read the book. They never went to the seminar. They never made the discovery. They did not seek the knowledge of how can I make my life better.

And if you just rock along , I am telling you it’s OK. Anybody can live anywhere they choose. I am writing this out, telling you, so that, if you wish to, it is possible to make the next three years totally different than the last three.

Fifty Five and Broke

I wonder how many people out there are like me. Fifty five and broke. I am not destitute but I am broke. No money for luxuries, holidays. No pension. Nothing to leave as an inheritance for my children let alone for my children’s children. But I am excited. Capitalism at grass root level. Listen I have found a way where I can start a business working part time. Not full time. No major investment. Just 10 - 15 hours a week. When I start making a profit I can say I am working full time on my  job and part time on my fortune.

I have found a way not only to make a living, but a fortune. Network marketing. Products I believe in. Share the concept to other people. The system is in place. Mentorship by those who have succeeded. Why did I not find it earlier. The good Lord knows why. A chance to go to work not to pay the rent and that’s OK by the way but a chance to make a fortune. It feels great every morning getting up to go to work to make a fortune.

The thrilling thing is that it is part time. And soon I am going to match part time what I make full time. It is magic. I am told it does not take long. If I work 10 to 15 hours a week, do it right, learn the skills it wont be long before I will make a profit. First goal is to make part time as much as I make full time.

I’ll have an incredible story when that happens. When I approach prospects I’ll say, “I have found a way part time to work on my fortune and I am making as much money at that as I make on my full time job. Would you like to hear my story?” Incredible!

Philosophy Four

Goals have to keep on growing. I’ll have a second goal. To make twice as much money part time working on my fortune as I make full time on my job. I will reach that in the next six months. That is my goal. This leads to an incredible invitation. ” I have found a way to make a fortune through a unique opportunity (try it for free) and I am now making twice as much money working on my fortune as I make on my full time job. Would you like to hear my story.”

Everybody I tell cannot resist. ” Yes tell me, What are you doing?”  ” I am glad you asked, let me  tell you.” When I start making twice as much money part time as I do on my full time job I will have a dilemma. Why not go full time? Why give up an electrifying story?  No one will be able to resist. I will hang on. That I know for sure. But I also know that the time will come when I will quit my full time job to work full time on my fortune. I’ll give up my full time job reluctantly.

My Network Marketing Business

I have at 55 been introduced to network marketing. I have never heard of it before. Here is a business, a health and nutrition marketing business, where I can start at the bottom and work my way to the top. I am so excited. I have also taken on a personal development program because I realise I have to become educated. I can work part time. This is revolutionizing my life. I am getting educated on the principles of success. Even now, I know I will never be the same.

First thing I have learnt, I am sharing this as I go, is that I have to have a philosophy, a personal philosophy. We have great products; there is absolutely no question about that. We have the finest support system in the world; I am certainly sure of that. I have great mentors with fruit on the table. But without the philosophy that makes it work, without the philosophy that will drive me to do the necessary things to make it work, it won’t happen for me.

Philosophy One: The discovery of unique products that I can believe in. You have to totally believe in the products you sell. So I have become the number one user. I use the products myself. I know what they can do. I have felt the difference they are making in my life and I can now talk about them with confidence. Personal development, I need it because at 55 and broke, it means have not done it right, have I? I am not destitute, I am broke. I watch my health. I study good nutrition. I pay attention to those things that give good health. I absolutely believe that wealth with no health means you have somehow cheated yourself. Wealthy at the expense of your health, that’s a con. So I can teach health with confidence.

Philosophy Two: Wages make you a living which is fine. Profits make you a fortune, which is superfine. Wow, I wish I learnt that a twenty. I will not dwell on the past, I focus on the future. This is the thing you can live either fine or superfine. Both are OK. I am working full time on my job and part time on my fortune. Because profits lead to fortune, I am excited. I have found a way not only to make a living but to make a fortune. Can you imagine what it will be like to get up in the morning, not to go to work, but to get up to make a fortune? Not just to pay the rent. To pay rent is OK. But a chance to make a fortune is great!

Philosophy Tree: My first goal is to make part time what I make full time on my job. I am working on making a fortune. I work 10-15 hours a week on my fortune. If you do it right and learn the skills that I will share as I learn them I know it won’t be long, and I will make part time what I make full time on my job. One of my mentors Jim Rohn did this in less than six months.

Education today

Everyone agrees on the value of education. I’m a dreamer. I hope I NEVER stop dreaming! And I am achieving my dreams. But for so many people, dreams remain just that – dreams. Why?  The answer is very simple. They don’t know how to move from dream to reality.
